Summer sensations

Download transcript

Liz Nottage, from Russell Smith Farms, Cambridgeshire, describes some of her favourite sights and sounds of summer. A textural and aural delight as she crunches across the field, swishing through the grass feeling their soft featheriness and listening to the rustling of the ripe wheat as the wind blows. Liz says what she loves about walking in the countryside in summer is that she never feels alone. There are so many birds overhead, insects buzzing around and farmers busy harvesting their wheat crops. Have a listen and you’ll see what a great time she is having!
